Pinedale Elementary School, home of the ‘Eagles’, is one of seven elementary school sites that feeds into the Clovis West Area of Clovis Unified. Build in 1953, Pinedale has been remodeled to meet the needs of our diverse student body.
Pinedale is a community school. We still know who our neighbors are, and all our children have a tremendous support network helping them to be successful. Pinedale teachers ensure that all core subjects are taught using a bell to bell approach, as time is too valuable to be wasted. Students are exposed to reading, language, mathematics, science, physical education/health and social science with a strong emphasis on ‘Mastery Learning’. Our goal is to prepare the Pinedale students to be the best they can be in mind, body and spirit.
Pinedale Elementary School is a wireless campus. Students and teachers can easily access the internet at a click of the mouse. All classrooms have a SMARTboard, LCD projector, SMART document camera, slate and classroom computers. Technology is used on a daily basis to enhance the curriculum to prepare students for the digital world.
