From late November to late January, Pinedale students in upper grades can participate in a number of athletic teams on behalf of their school. Most sports consist of a competitive Varsity team (Varsity may cut players), and a JV team (no cuts) which is designed to teach fundamentals and ensure all athletes have playing time.

Fourth graders have the opportunity to participate in Wrestling.

Fifth and Sixth grade students can participate in wrestling or basketball.

Practices are held Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 2:40-3:45 pm with games on Fridays.
