Chess Team
The Pinedale Chess Team is open to all students in 4th–6th grade who are interested in learning and playing chess. Students meet after school Wednesday for practices where they build strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and good sportsmanship while enjoying friendly competition. The program is a great opportunity for students to challenge themselves, connect with peers, and grow their love of the game. The team participates in in-house and district tournaments throughout the year - date and time pending.
Practice will be from 1:10 – 2:10 on Wednesdays starting September 16th to May 26th in Room 30.
